Children are not just small adults and that's why if your child has an illness or injury that requires surgery, our Pediatric Surgeons have the training, experience,  and qualifications to provide excellent care for your child that regular adult general surgeons may not.  Our focus is to provide quality care in the diagnosis and treatment of children requiring surgery, using the most modern equipment, facilities, and resources designed to meet only the needs of children.
                                          
Our practice has a long history of providing surgical care to the children of the Tennessee Valley. The practice was founded in 1964 as the only pediatric specialty at the time in East Tennessee. 





We provide services for children at both East Tennessee Children’s Hospital and The University of Tennessee Medical Center.
