Dr. Roaten was born in Memphis, Tennessee.  He attended the University of Memphis earning a B.S. in Chemistry followed by his Medical Degree and Doctorate Degree in Pharmacology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis. Dr. Roaten trained in General Surgery at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado and in Pediatric Surgery at St. Louis Children's Hospital at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. He joined our Practice in July 2007. Special areas of interest within Pediatric Surgery include minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery. Personal interests include mountaineering, ice and rock climbing, and spending time with his wife Belinda and his three children.
