Dr. Kennedy was born in Bryn Mawr, PA.  He attended Lehigh University earning a B.A. in Natural Science, Cum Laude followed by his Medical Degree at Hahnemann University School of Medicine. Dr. Kennedy trained in General Surgery at Geisinger Medical Center, in Pediatric Surgery at The Children's Mercy Hospital of Kansas City, Missouri, and Pediatric Urology at Dupont Children's Hospital in Wilmington Delaware. He joined our Practice in July 2004 following his position as Director of Pediatric Surgery and Urology at Geisinger Medical Center. He is a member of the American Medical Association, Alpha Omega Alpha, American Pediatric Surgical Association and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Special areas of interest within Pediatric Surgery include Pediatric Urology and Bariatric Surgery. Personal interests include tennis, restoration of a 1949 Ford F-1 Series truck and the Piano. Dr. Kennedy also maintains his farm back in Pennsylvania where he and his family spend time.
